News: Collision involving Greyhound bus hurts multiple passengers

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Several passengers of a Greyhound bus were injured last night after a man grabbed the wheel and crashed the vehicle, KOAT 7 reports.

A man was riding on the bus as it was traveling along I-40 when he got into a physical altercation with his brother. During the fight, he took control of the bus steering wheel, which led to the bus crashing into a light pole on the highway exit.

The wreck took place late Sunday night, near the intersection of I-40 and 12th Street.

The bus driver was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital along with several other passengers.

The man involved in the physical fight was hospitalized and charged with several felonies by the Albuquerque Police Department.
