News: City bus strikes, injures pedestrian

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A person was hospitalized Wednesday after they sustained injuries in an accident with a bus, ABQ Journal reports.

A city bus was traveling near the intersection of Menaul Boulevard and Carlisle Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian, according to Albuquerque police. Authorities were called to the wreck at around 9:45 p.m. yesterday.

The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. It’s unclear if the pedestrian’s condition has improved.

Carlisle Boulevard has been closed down in the northbound lanes as the accident site is undergoing investigation.
