ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Local authorities have closed down part of I-40 this afternoon after a vehicle crash, TTN Albuquerque reports.

Officials responded to the wreck in the eastbound lanes. The accident happened at approximately 3:40 p.m. today.
The highway was closed between Exit 131 towards Canoncito School Road and Cibola.
