BLOOMFIELD, NM – San Juan County Fire & Rescue reported it was at the scene of a crash at a daycare center in Bloomfield on Friday.
The incident occurred in the area of North 1st Street and Oak near East Broadway Avenue, and was reported at about 6:30 p.m.
A vehicle crashed into the side of the daycare, leaving a gaping hole in the building. One injury was reported involving a child who was taken to the hospital. No details were reported on the child’s condition. The rest of the children and adults were safe, rescue crews said.
The Bloomfield Police Department is investigating the crash.
