RIO RANCHO, NM – New Mexico State Police are looking into the cause of a wreck that involved a cement truck earlier today, the Rio Rancho Observer reports.
A cement truck was heading south towards the Unser Boulevard and Mariposa Parkway intersection when it crashed and overturned. There were no reported injuries in the wreck.
Local and state police departments were at the site of the crash around 7:30 a.m. Several towing trucks were able to set the truck back upright several hours later.
A spokesman for the Rio Rancho Police Department stated that the crash may have been caused by a brake malfunction. The investigation is ongoing.
