ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A car accident blocked several lanes of traffic near Downtown this morning, TTN Albuquerque reports.

At least one vehicle was driving northbound on I-25 when the wreck occurred. Authorities responded to the wreck near Exit 225 towards Lomas Boulevard. The accident was reported at about 11:05 a.m. Friday.
Two lanes of the roadway were closed down as local police investigated. Traffic significantly slowed down between Exit 225 and Exit 222 towards Gibson Boulevard. The area was reopened at about 12:00 p.m. today.
