ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A car accident caused a person to sustain injuries and led to traffic delays on Monday, according to APD Traffic.

A vehicle was traveling on Menaul Boulevard at about 11:46 p.m. Monday when it crashed for unknown reasons. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident between the intersections with Cardenas Drive and Cagua Drive.
It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
Menaul Boulevard was closed down in both directions as cleanup crews worked to clear the crash site.
APD Traffic reports that at least one person sustained injuries after the wreck. We will monitor this story as local authorities investigates.
