ALBUQUERQUE, NM – There were major road closures in south Albuquerque earlier this week after a crash, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The vehicles involved in the crash were traveling west on Rio Bravo Boulevard and Del Rio Road. Deputies with the BCSO responded to the wreck at around 1:39 p.m. Tuesday.
Rio Bravo Boulevard was closed down in all westbound lanes as local crews worked to clear the crash site.
Information about what caused the accident to take place is currently unavailable.
