ROSWELL, NM – Four people were hospitalized after two vehicles collided in Roswell on Tuesday, the Roswell Daily Record reports.
The accident took place in the vicinity of North Main Street and 22nd Street at about noon. Polce said the impact caused one of the vehicles, an SUV, to roll over in the northbound lane of North Main Street. The injured victims were transported to a local hospital, but no details were immediately released about the extent of their injuries.
Traffic was detoured onto 19th Street while the scene was being cleared and investigated. The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with Roswell police and firefighters.
