ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police said one person was killed in a crash on Albuquerque’s West Side Thursday afternoon, according to KOB 4.
The accident took place in the vicinity of Paseo del Norte Boulevard and Universe Boulevard NW near Ventana Ranch Elementary School. Several lanes of traffic in the area were shut down while police officers responded to the scene. The lanes reopened several hours later.
No information was immediately released on the person who died, or the circumstances that led to the crash.
