New Mexico State Police officer injured following 3-vehicle crash in east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a New Mexico State Police Officer and two other people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision at Wyoming Boulevard Northeast and Central Avenue Northeast Sunday afternoon.

The drivers of the patrol vehicle, a black Nissan, and a gray Infiniti collided at around 12:20 p.m.

First responders transported the officer, the Infiniti driver, and a passenger from the Nissan to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is unclear at this time what caused the wreck, but our news team will continue to follow this story for any major updates.

15-vehicle pile-up reported on Interstate 40 near Moriarty

TORRANCE COUNTY, NM – Multiple people were hurt following a 15-vehicle pile-up on Interstate 40 near mile marker 209 Saturday, according to KRQE.

The multi-vehicle incident involved five crashes and comprised semi-trucks, passenger vehicles, and RVs.

Crews transported a few people with minor and moderate injuries to area hospitals.

Officials say snow created low visibility at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews respond to fatal motorcycle wreck on New Mexico 337 in Cedro

CEDRO, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, a deadly motorcycle crash was reported on New Mexico 337 near Juan Tomas Road Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:32 p.m.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and it remains unclear at this time whether another vehicle was involved. Officials have not released the victim’s name.

A section of NM 337 was closed to traffic as crews worked to process the scene.
