BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Deputies were called to a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 40 near Carnuel, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision was reported on the eastbound lanes at mile marker 170, approaching Coyote Springs Road Southeast. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 12:53 p.m.
Little information has been made available, but three vehicles were involved, leaving a section of the eastbound interstate blocked.
BCSO said no serious injuries were immediately reported.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed a possible cause of the wreck or any details on the involved vehicles.
