SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 25 near southwest Santa Fe, according to NM Roads.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes of I-25 between mile markers 266 and 267, in an area about 12 miles southwest of the city. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 10:45 a.m.
Little information has been disclosed at this time, but a section of southbound I-25 was blocked as crews worked to clear the wreck.
The scene remained active at 11:45 a.m., about an hour after the initial report, suggesting a major crash and a more involved response.
At this time, local agencies have not confirmed any serious injuries in connection to the event.
