ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies were called to a multi-vehicle wreck late Thursday afternoon on Paseo del Norte Boulevard in north Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of the road at the Rio Grande River, in the Riverfronte Estates Inc area. It was first reported shortly before 4:16 p.m.
The sheriff’s office has not confirmed the cause of the accident, but four vehicles were involved and no serious injuries were immediately reported.
All eastbound traffic was reduced to only two open lanes during the response and investigation.

By 4:49 p.m., more than 30 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
