ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A multi-car crash Friday blocked several lanes of eastbound Interstate 40 near the Rio Grande in northwest Albuquerque, reports NM Roads.
The collision took place on the eastbound interstate at mile marker 156, in the city’s Vista Magnifica area. It was first reported by NM Roads at 12:53 p.m.
At this time, officials have not shared further information regarding the parties involved or a possible cause of the wreck.
Motorists were asked to slow down and exercise extra caution while approaching the bridge.
No injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
