ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a multi-vehicle wreck Friday evening on Paseo del Norte Boulevard in northwest Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident took place on the westbound lanes at the Rio Grande. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 7:10 p.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but three motor vehicles were involved.
All westbound traffic on Paseo del Norte Boulevard was forced to get by through a single open lane. Motorists were advised to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
By 7:46 p.m., more than 35 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
