ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Two people were injured, one seriously, Sunday afternoon due to a motorcycle crash in north Albuquerque’s Seven Bar Ranch area, according to KOAT.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes at the intersection with Coors Boulevard Northeast.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, but the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said a motorcycle and another vehicle collided.

First responders transported the rider to an area hospital with a broken bone. The other driver was said to have sustained minor injuries, but officials did not say whether they were taken to a hospital.

All eastbound lanes of Alameda Boulevard were blocked during the emergency response. By 2:38 p.m., KOAT crews reported the scene had been cleared with all lanes restored to traffic.

At this time, no citations have been issued as authorities continue to investigate.
