Motorcyclist killed in crash on Coors Blvd near Albuquerque’s Taylor Ranch

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle in Albuquerque’s Taylor Ranch area, reports KRQE.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene on the northbound lanes of Coors Boulevard Northwest near Montaño Road Northwest.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but officials said another victim had to be extricated from the wreckage of a vehicle. That patient was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

According to investigators, speed contributed to the crash. As of this writing, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
