Motorcyclist killed in collision with pickup truck in Farmington

FARMINGTON, NM – Police in Farmington are investigating a deadly collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck, according to the Tri-City Record.

The accident occurred Nov. 2 at the intersection of Country Club Drive and East Main Street. Police learned that the driver of a Dodge pickup truck was making a left turn onto Country Club Drive from East Main Street at about 5:45 p.m. A motorcycle rider going west on East Main Street crashed into the front of the pickup at the intersection.

The motorcyclist, identified as 69-year-old Clifford Mosley, died at the scene. The intersection was closed down overnight for the police investigation.

Deputies investigating fatal accident in South Valley

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a deadly crash in the South Valley early Saturday morning.

An alert from the BCSO at about 6 a.m. said deputies responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident that turned fatal. It happened on Armijo Lane SW near Isleta Boulevard.

Roads were blocked in the area for the investigation before reopening about four hours later. There was no immediate word on who had been killed in the wreck.

Crash in Albuquerque affects traffic on Coors Boulevard

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash disrupted traffic in a section of southwest Albuquerque on Saturday afternoon.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office issued a traffic alert on the incident at 2:52 p.m., stating that deputies were called to the area of Las Estancias Drive and Coors Boulevard Southwest.

The northbound turning lane onto Coors Boulevard was shut down while the accident was being cleared.
