Motorcyclist fatally crashes near SR Marmon

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KRQE, a motorcyclist fatally collided with a guardrail on the Interstate 40 westbound off-ramp to southbound Coors Boulevard Northwest Friday night.

The victim was riding a gray Kawasaki motorcycle west on Interstate 40 at high speeds when they failed to negotiate a curve and slammed into the guardrail around 9 p.m. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and died from their injuries.

Nobody else was involved in the collision.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident. They believe speed was a factor in the crash.

Troopers investigate deadly auto vs. pedestrian crash near Urban Forest Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The New Mexico State Police is investigating a fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision that occurred on Interstate 40 eastbound near Carlisle Boulevard Northeast Thursday night, according to ABQ Raw.

A person ran into traffic and was hit by a driver around 10 p.m.

First responders pronounced one woman dead at the scene and transported another person to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around midnight.

Wreck reported near Alamedan Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, a crash was reported at Paseo del Norte Boulevard Northeast eastbound and 2nd Street Northwest Friday night.

The incident occurred around 8:59 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
