Motorcyclist fatally collides with minivan on 98th St at Rio Clara Ave

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, two people are dead after a motorcycle hit a minivan near 98th Street and Rio Clara Avenue Southwest on Monday night.

At around 8:40 p.m., the motorcyclist was heading south when they slammed into the driver’s side door of a minivan, which was entering the intersection from the stop sign on the east side of Rio Clara Avenue Southwest.

First responders pronounced both the motorcyclist and the minivan driver deceased at the scene.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

Paramedics respond to injury accident near Remington Estates

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – First responders were called to the scene of an accident with injuries at Gun Club Road Southwest and Don Pedro Padilla Road Southwest on Sunday, according to BCSO.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 5:04 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Auto accident disrupts traffic near Outlook Ranch

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to BCSO, a wreck blocked traffic at Edith Boulevard Northeast and Griegos Road Northwest on Sunday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 6:47 p.m.

Officials have not released more details.

Multiple lanes are closed in the area of Edith and Griegos due to a motor vehicle crash. The number 3 southbound and eastbound lanes of Griegos are closed.
The Northbound turn to Edith from Comanche is also closed.
