Motorcyclist dies in high-speed crash in Aztec

AZTEC, NM – According to KOAT, a motorcyclist died in a high-speed collision near West Aztec Boulevard and South Main Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Dominic Villarial, age 29, was riding a motorcycle at around 120 mph when he crashed around 12:02 p.m. Villarial was ejected from the bike in the wreck.

First responders transported Villarial to an area hospital, where he died.

The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. They believe speed was the primary factor in the accident.

Traffic accident narrows Interstate 25 down to 1 lane near Highland Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash closed down all but one lane of traffic at northbound Interstate 25 and Central Avenue Southeast on Wednesday, according to KKOB Traffic.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 3:33 p.m.

Officials have not provided more details.

Wreck reported on New Mexico 313 in Sandia Pueblo

SANDIA PUEBLO, NM – According to NMRoads, a crash was reported on New Mexico 313 near mile marker 4 Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 7:46 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
