Motorcyclist dies following 2-vehicle crash near Zuni

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a male motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle collision at Louisiana Blvd NE and Uptown Blvd NE on Wednesday.

The motorcyclist collided with another vehicle around 5:30 p.m. The other driver did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene.

Officials have not released the motorcyclist’s name.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s  Motors Unit is investigating the incident.

Teen sentenced for deadly four-wheeler crash near Crestview Bluff

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A 16-year-old boy was sentenced for a fatal four-wheeler crash that occurred at Central Ave SW and Yucca Dr NW on March 12, 2014, according to KRQE.

The teen was riding an ATV with his girlfriend as a passenger when he ran a red light and slammed into a truck. The girlfriend died in the crash.

The 16-year-old pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide. He will spend two years in the Youth Diagnostic and Development Center.

Wreck reported on NM 409 near Lea Lake

ROSWELL, NM – According to NMRoads, a crash was reported on NM 409 near mile marker nine on Thursday.

The incident happened around 8:09 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
