Motorcyclist dies after crash with car on Cerillos Rd in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM — A 21-year-old man was killed Monday night when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in southwest Santa Fe, reports KRQE.

The fatal wreck occurred near the intersection of Cerillos Road and Saint Michaels Drive at around 7:00 p.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but Santa Fe Police said the young man appears to have been traveling at high speeds moments before the crash.

According to officials, the rider died from his injuries before first responders arrived.

It was unclear how the other driver was impacted or whether they remained at the scene.
