SANTA FE, NM — A 24-year-old man was fatally injured Monday night in a motorcycle crash involving another vehicle near southwest Santa Fe, reports the Santa Fe Police Department.
The fatal wreck took place at the intersection of St. Michaels Drive and Espinicitas Drive at around 6:50 p.m.
Witnesses told authorities the man was riding a motorcycle westbound on St. Michaels Drive when he struck another vehicle at the intersection.
It was unclear whether the other driver had failed to yield to the right of way.
Medics rushed the motorcyclist to Christus St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
