Motorcyclist critically hurt in crash on Central Ave SW in west Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning after a motorcycle wreck in west Albuquerque, reports KOB4.

The accident occurred in the area of Central Avenue Northwest and 47th Street Northwest, just south of the Pat Hurley neighborhood.

While authorities have not released the sequence of events leading up to the crash, Albuquerque Police arrived to find the rider suffering from life-threatening injuries due to a crash.

First responders rushed the victim to an area hospital. No updates on the patient’s condition have been released at this time.

The westbound lanes of Central Avenue were closed from 47th Street to 50th Street during the response and initial investigation.
