ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A man was hospitalized Thursday afternoon following a motorcycle accident near north Albuquerque’s Guadalupe Village area, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of 4th Street and Solar Road Northwest. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 1:11 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed at this time, but officials said the operator of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. It was unclear whether another vehicle was involved.
A span of 4th Street was shut down in both directions during the response and initial investigation. Motorists were asked to avoid the scene and find alternate routes.
