Man dies following single-vehicle crash near Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM – According to Santa Fe New Mexican, a man died and a woman was hurt following a collision on Paseo De River near NM 599 on Saturday.

Julio Olivarria Gamboa, 31, was driving a Chevy Silverado when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed around 7:17 p.m.

Gamboa died in the wreck. First responders transported Gamboa’s female passenger to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Auto accident blocks traffic on NM 247 near Corona

CORONA, NM – A crash disrupted traffic on NM 247 near mile marker 48 on Wednesday, according to NMRoads.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 9:04 a.m.

Officials have not provided additional information.

Wreck reported on NM 120 near Ocate

OCATE, NM – According to NMRoads, a crash was reported on NM 120 near mile marker 12 on Wednesday.

The incident occurred around 9:20 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
