Man dies following 2-vehicle crash on NM 502 in Los Alamos

LOS ALAMOS, NM – According to KOB, a man died in a two-vehicle collision on NM 502 near Camino Entrada on Friday.

The crash occurred around 5:16 a.m.

Rescue crews transported a 22-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man to an area hospital, where the man died. The woman suffered minor injuries.

Officials have not released the victims’ names or the cause of the wreck.

Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Trumbull Village

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on Trumbull Ave SE near Grove St on Thursday, according to KOB.

Two people were walking on Trumbull Ave SE around 9:40 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle headed west towards them at high speeds. One of the people was able to jump out of the way, but the driver struck the other person.

Rescue crews pronounced the injured pedestrian dead at the scene.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

BMW driver fatally collides with brick wall, power pole near Hahn Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a BMW driver died after slamming into a brick wall and a power pole near Juan Tabo Blvd NE and Montgomery Blvd NE on Friday.

A man was driving a red BMW at excessive speeds north on Juan Tabo Blvd NE when he hit a curb before plowing into a wall and power pole around 4 a.m. His female passenger was ejected from the car during the wreck. The vehicle caught on fire following the collision.

Rescue crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported the woman passenger to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.
