Man dies after being struck by vehicle in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police and first responders were dispatched to a fatal pedestrian collision in southeast Albuquerque on Saturday morning, according to KOAT.

The incident took place near the intersection of Acoma Road SE and Eubank Boulevard SE at about 7:30 a.m. Responding officers found a man dead at the scene, with injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian death is under under investigation by the Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit.

Southbound 4th Street shut down due to accident

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A vehicle crash disrupted traffic in a section of Albuquerque on Tuesday evening.

According to a traffic alert from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office at 7:49 p.m., deputies were at the site of the accident on southbound 4th Street in front of the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center.

All of southbound 4th Street was closed while the wreck was being cleared.

Accident involving semi disrupts traffic on U.S. 380

CHAVES COUNTY, NM – The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office was called to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 380 East last week.

In a social media post on Feb. 21, the sheriff’s office said deputies were at the scene of what was reported to be a semi vs. truck crash. Westbound traffic was closed and was being diverted south onto Bottomless Lakes Road. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

All lanes of travel were reopened in both directions as of 10:55 p.m.
