Injuries reported in single-vehicle crash on east Route 9

PUEBLO PINTADO, NM – The Navajo Police Department and emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash on East Route 9 last week.

According to a Facebook post, the incident happened late Friday night at 10:15 p.m. just east of Pueblo Pintado at mile marker 77.2 The wreck involved injuries, but no further details were released on who had been hurt.

Route 9 was closed in both directions during the accident response before reopening about 90 miles later. Drivers were advised to use slow down, use caution and expect delays when traveling through the area.

Crash slows traffic on Interstate 40 in New Laguna

NEW LAGUNA, NM – An accident was reported to be slowing traffic in a portion of Cibola County on Tuesday morning.

According to a post on NMRoads at 8:48 a.m., there was a crash on westbound Interstate 40 at mile marker 111 in New Laguna.

Drivers were urged to watch for emergency personnel and vehicles in the area, slow down, and proceed with caution through the area. Minor traffic delays were expected.

Albuquerque police respond to wreck at Sage Road and 98th Street

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Albuquerque Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday evening, according to ABQ Traffic.

The incident, reported at 6:44 p.m., occurred in the area of Sage Road and 98th Street SW. Injuries were reported, but no additional information was disclosed at the time.

The accident resulted in multiple lane closures while the roadway was being cleared.
