Injuries reported after crash on Goff Blvd in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — At least one person was injured Monday afternoon due to a wreck on Goff Boulevard in southwest Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes of the road at Isleta Boulevard, south of the South Atrisco area. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 4:56 p.m.

Officials have not said what led up to the crash, but injuries were reported.

Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the scene, as all southbound lanes of Goff Boulevard were shut down in the area.

By 5:35 p.m., nearly 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
