Injuries reported after crash on 2nd St NW near north Albuquerque

BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — At least one person was injured Sunday night due to a collision on 2nd Street Northwest near north Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident was reported at the intersection with El Pueblo Road Northwest, in North Valley. Deputies arrived on the scene shortly before 8:08 p.m.

Few details have been shared, but officials said only minor injuries were reported.

The northbound turn lane was shut down during the response and initial investigation.

By 8:40 p.m., more than 30 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to the public.

The sheriff’s office has not confirmed the number of people hurt or released any information on the cause of the wreck.
