Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures person on scooter near Huning Highlands

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a hit-and-run driver collided with a person riding a scooter near Central Ave NE and Broadway Blvd NE on Friday.

A person driving a dark-colored vehicle was heading north on Broadway Blvd NE when they plowed into the victim around 10 p.m. The driver then fled the scene.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the collision to contact them.

Alleged impaired driver crashes, injures 2 children in Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM – Two children were hospitalized when a suspected impaired driver crashed near Rodeo Rd and Galisteo Rd on Friday, according to KOAT.

Dylan Ortiz-Delgado, 26, was allegedly driving recklessly prior to the crash.

First responders transported a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old to an area hospital following the wreck.

Authorities charged Ortiz-Delgado with attempting to disarm an officer, DUI, and reckless driving.

Driver hits pedestrian near Metropolitan Detention Center

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to BCSO, a driver struck a pedestrian on Shelly Dr SW near the Metropolitan Detention Center on Sunday.

The driver collided with the victim around 6:04 p.m.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
