Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian in south Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM – According to KRQE, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a man on Cerrillos Road near Richards Avenue Sunday morning.

A person driving a silver pickup truck hit the 34-year-old man as he was crossing the road outside a crosswalk around 2:26 a.m.

Following the collision, the driver headed south without stopping.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crash Investigator Art Maes.

Wreck reported near downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash was reported on I-40 Westbound near 12th Street Northwest on Friday, according to KKOB Traffic.

The incident occurred around 4:55 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.

Emergency crews respond to crash near Vista Verde Estates

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to BCSO, first responders were called to the scene of an accident at Coors Boulevard Southwest and Las Estancias Drive on Sunday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 2:47 p.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
