Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with pedestrian in east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a woman near Tramway Boulevard and Cloudview Avenue Northeast Wednesday night.

Jonathan Gallegos, 38, was allegedly driving a Buick SUV south on Tramway Boulevard when he hit a woman who was walking with another woman on the shoulder of Tramway Boulevard.

The victim died from her injuries.

Authorities located Gallego. He allegedly admitted to drinking before getting behind the wheel. He was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

Wreck reported near Alamedan Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash was reported at Paseo Del Norte Boulevard Northeast westbound and 2nd Street Northwest on Thursday, according to BCSO.

The incident occurred around 6:05 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt.

Emergency crews respond to crash on New Mexico 81 near Hachita

HACHITA, NM – According to NMRoads, first responders were called to the scene of an accident on New Mexico 81 near mile marker 45 on Friday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 10:20 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
