Fatal pedestrian accident shuts down Coors Boulevard in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Friday morning.

According to an alert from the BCSO at 8:43 a.m., the incident happened in the area of Coors Boulevard and Los Padillas Road. Coors Boulevard was shut down in both directions while authorities were investigating.

Drivers were advised to use Interstate 25 or Isleta Boulevard as an alternate route.

Portion of Interstate 40 westbound closed due to crash

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Traffic was slowed on a stretch of Interstate 40 in Albuquerque on Wednesday afternoon due to a crash.

An advisory on NMRoads at 2:05 p.m. stated that the right lane and right shoulder of I-40 westbound were closed at mile marker 167, near Tramway Boulevard.

Drivers were advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the area.

Injuries reported in semi-truck crash in Chaves County

CHAVES COUNTY, NM – The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office responded to a semi-truck accident on Thursday morning.

According to the sheriff’s Facebook post, deputies responded to Highway 249 at mile marker 4 at about 7:30 a.m. for a CMV rollover

Minor injuries were reported, though no details were released on who had been hurt.
