SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A 62-year-old woman was taken into custody for suspected DUI over the past weekend after an apparent vehicle crash near south Santa Fe, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials have not confirmed the exact date and location, but the incident was reported at the intersection of Avenida Eldorado and Reno Road.

Preliminary details indicate SFCSO deputies were called to the scene for a “possible single vehicle crash.” Shortly after, Santa Fe resident Michele Richardson, identified as the driver of the vehicle, was arrested under suspicion of driving while impaired. She was then booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

No other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved, and no major injuries have been reported in connection to the event.
