SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A 70-year-old man was arrested for suspected intoxication following a collision on New Mexico State Road 76 in La Puebla, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
The SFCSO did not immediately confirm the day and time of the wreck, but deputies responded to the scene in the 500 block of NM-76 (Santa Cruz Road), north of Santa Fe.
While few details have been shared, officials said the male driver, Richard Martinez, of Chimayo, displayed signs of impairment at the crash site.
Martinez was taken into custody and booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
No major injuries were reported, and no other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved.
