Driver injured after crashing into vehicles in Santa Fe parking lot

SANTA FE, NM – A driver was hospitalized last week after his vehicle was involved in a crash in Santa Fe, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported.

 The incident happened Dec. 4 in a parking lot near a restaurant in the area of St. Michael’s Drive and Llano Street. New Mexico State Police officers arrived at about 10:40 a.m. and learned that the driver of a Dodge truck had crashed into a street light pole, a tree, and multiple vehicles. The driver was having a medical episode when the incident occurred, NMSP said.

The driver was found unresponsive, and was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. No one else was hurt in the wreck.

Delays reported on I-40 west following accident near Zuzax

ZUZAX, NM – A traffic advisory was issued Monday afternoon following a crash along Interstate 40 in Bernalillo County.

According to a post from NMRoads at 2:20 p.m., the accident happened on I-40 westbound at mile marker 178 near Zuzax. The left lane of the interstate was shut down while emergency crews responded.

Drivers were advised to proceed with caution and expect traffic delays.

Crash blocks portion of Coors Boulevard in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash prompted a road closure in southwest Albuquerque early Sunday morning.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office released a traffic alert regarding the motor vehicle accident at 12:54 a.m. It resulted in the temporary closure of northbound Coors Boulevard SW at Norment Road SW.

No major injuries were reported.
