Driver hits, kills pedestrian in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian at Wyoming Blvd NE and Northeaster Blvd NE on Sunday.

The driver of a white Audi was heading north on Wyoming Blvd NE when they hit a pedestrian.

First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

2 dead after driver collides with semi-truck near Tijeras

BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM – Two people died in a fiery crash involving a semi-truck on I-40 WB at mile marker 176 on Saturday, according to KOAT.

A driver slammed into a semi-truck and became pinned underneath it. The vehicle became engulfed in flames and set the semi-truck on fire.

The two occupants of the vehicle that hit the semi-truck, David and Marry Harper, died in the collision. It is unclear if the semi-truck driver was hurt in the incident.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Wreck reported in South Valley

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to BCSO, a crash was reported at Isleta Blvd SW and Los Padillas Rd SW on Sunday.

The incident happened around 3:57 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
