Driver hits, injures pedestrian near La Mora Acres

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to KOAT, a driver collided with a pedestrian at Rio Bravo Blvd SW and Isleta Blvd SW on Wednesday.

Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene.

Emergency crews shut down the eastbound lanes of Rio Bravo Blvd SW so authorities could investigate the incident.

Motorcyclist fatally collides with another vehicle near Lynnewood Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOB, a motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle collision at Tramway Blvd NE and Menaul Blvd NE on Wednesday.

Around 7 p.m., a person was driving a silver Toyota Prius north on Tramway Blvd NE when they attempted to make a U-turn. A motorcyclist heading south slammed into the Prius’s rear as they made the U-Turn.

Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene and transported three people from the Prius to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the incident.

Crash near South Broadway injures at least 1 person

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to APD Traffic, at least one person was hurt in a wreck at I-25 NB and Avenida Cesar Chavez on Wednesday.

The incident was reported to authorities around 6:49 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
