Driver fleeing from police fatally collides with another vehicle in La Mesa

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a person is dead after a driver eluding police crashed into another vehicle near Marquette Ave. NE and Espanola St NE on Wednesday.

The driver was fleeing from police when he slammed into another vehicle around 4:30 p.m. Two people were hurt in the crash. One of them died at the scene.

Following the collision, the suspect continued to evade police. Officers used a device that allowed dispatchers to track the suspect’s vehicle.

Authorities eventually located the suspect and arrested them.

Officials have not released the names of the suspect or victims.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Motors Unit is investigating the incident.

Wreck closes down section of I-25 near Jade Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash closed a section of I-25 NB near Paseo Del Norte Blvd NE on Wednesday, according to KOAT.

The accident happened sometime Wednesday afternoon.

Officials have not released additional details.

Emergency crews respond to auto accident on US 70 near Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, NM – According to NMRoads, first responders were called to the scene of a crash on US 70 near mile marker 150 on Thursday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 7:51 a.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
