Driver fatally collides with pedestrian on Unser Boulevard Southwest

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on Unser Boulevard Southwest Monday morning.

The driver hit the victim on Unser Boulevard Southwest between Gibson Boulevard and Blake Road Southwest around 6 a.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crews shut down Unser Boulevard in both directions to investigate the collision.

Pedestrian struck and killed in northwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A pedestrian died after being run over by a driver near Coors Boulevard Northwest and Quail Road Northwest Saturday night, according to KOAT.

The driver of a white Nissan was heading north on Coors Boulevard when a male pedestrian ran into traffic. The driver tried to avoid striking the pedestrian, but hit him around 9 p.m.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

At least 1 hurt in motorcycle crash in Paradise Hills Civic

PARADISE HILLS CIVIC, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, at least one person was hurt in a motorcycle accident at Cardinal Street Northwest and Bryan Avenue Northwest on Sunday.

Officials posted about the collision around 5:08 p.m.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
