Driver fatally collides with pedestrian near International District

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian near Central Ave and Espanola St NE on Wednesday.

The driver hit the victim around 7 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s motors unit is investigating the incident.

At least 1 dead following crash near Sunset Memorial Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person died in a single-vehicle collision on I-25 SB near Bobby Foster Rd on Friday, according to KOAT.

First responders were called to the incident around 2 a.m.

Emergency crews closed the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 5:15 a.m.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Troopers investigate deadly crash on I-25 near Hatch

DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM – Two people died in a fatal collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle on I-25 near Hatch on Thursday.

The collision occurred around noon.

Emergency crews shot down both lanes of traffic for two hours to process the scene.

Officials have not released the victims’ names or the cause of the wreck.

The New Mexico State Police is investigating the incident.
