Driver fatally collides with pedestrian in Westgate Heights

WESTGATE HEIGHTS, NM – According to KOAT, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian at Dennis Chavez Blvd and 118th St SW on Tuesday.

The driver hit the victim around 6 p.m.

Emergency crews shut down both directions of 118th St SW to process the scene.

Auto accident blocks traffic on I-40 near Rehoboth

REHOBOTH, NM – A wreck disrupted traffic on I-40 EB near mile marker 27 on Wednesday, according to NMRoads.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 9:38 a.m.

Officials have not released more details.

Crash injures at least 1 person in south Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to APD Traffic, at least one person was hurt in a wreck on I-25 SB between Gibson Blvd SE and Sunport Blvd.

The incident occurred around 6:12 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
