Driver fatally collides with bicyclist near Gregory Lopez Park

SANTA FE, NM – According to KRQE, a driver struck and killed a bicyclist near Cerillos Road and St. Michaels Drive Wednesday night.

The driver hit a 42-year-old man riding a bicycle around 8:20 p.m.

First responders transported the bicyclist to an area hospital, where he died. Officials have not released his name.

Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and spoke with police.

The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the incident.

Semi-truck rollover accident snarls traffic on Interstate 40 in west Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A semi-truck rollover collision occurred on Interstate 40 westbound near Atrisco Vista Boulevard Northwest Wednesday morning, according to KOAT.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office posted about the incident on X at 11:20 a.m.

The crash closed down westbound Interstate 40 from mile marker 144 to mile marker 148.

It is unknown if anyone was hurt in the accident.

Emergency crews respond to rollover crash in North Valley

NORTH VALLEY, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the scene of an accident at 2nd Street Northwest northbound and Alameda Boulevard Northeast Thursday morning.

The collision occurred around 6:46 a.m.

Officials have not provided more details.
