Driver dies after vehicle crashes into ditch in McKinley County

MCKINLEY COUNTY, NM – The McKinley County Sheriff’s Office said that it is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday.

According to the MCSO’s Facebook post at 11:39 p.m., the single-vehicle wreck happened on Hasler Valley Road. The driver went off the roadway and through a ditch, and was killed. No one else was believed to be in the vehicle.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released. Deputies believe that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the accident.

Southbound Isleta Boulevard shut down due to accident

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – Drivers were alerted to an accident causing traffic disruptions in a section of the South Valley on Monday evening.

A notification from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office at 6:06 p.m. stated that deputies were at the scene of the crash at Isleta Boulevard SW and Armijo Lane SW.

All southbound lanes of Isleta were closed while authorities were waiting for a tow truck to remove an inoperable vehicle.

Driver taken to hospital after truck rollover crash near Hagerman

HAGERMAN, NM – First responders were dispatched to a truck accident outside of Hagerman late Saturday night.

According to Hagerman Fire & EMS, a tractor-trailer rollover crash occurred at around midnight. The tractor-trailer, hauling milk, was reported to have slid a considerable distance before coming to rest on its side.

Rescuers said the driver had already been transported to the hospital by the time they arrived. There was no immediate word on the person’s condition.
