Driver dies after two-vehicle crash in Albuquerque’s Snow Heights area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A woman was killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle collision that impacted a building near Albuquerque’s Snow Heights area, reports Albuquerque Journal.

Albuquerque Police were called to the scene near Virginia Street Northeast and Constitution Avenue Northeast, at about 7:00 p.m.

The circumstances behind the accident were not immediately clear, but one of the involved vehicles crashed into a nearby building. Officials confirmed the driver of that vehicle, a woman, died from her injuries.

No information on the driver of the second vehicle has been disclosed at this time.

No other injuries have been reported as of this writing, and authorities have not said what building was hit.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Motors Unit, including its DWI Unit, continue to investigate.
