Preliminary details indicate the woman was driving southbound on US-285 when she attempted to pass a car ahead of her. Moments after entering the northbound lane, her car struck an oncoming pickup truck head-on. Authorities said a car traveling behind the pickup was also impacted.

The woman, identified as Leticia Lancaster-Valois, 66, of Oklahoma City, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
